Place the decks of cards in the same color as the cards in their places on the playing field by mixing them separately according to their colors.

Put the section surfaces that you will play with closed.

(In the first game, the A-B surface will face down.) Choose a pawn color for your team.

Place both pawns in the starting digit.

Place the 15-word marker pawn in the empty circle at the beginning of the 15-word path.

Put the World to Go puppet, the Drawing Book, a Pencil (Pencil not included in the game box), and the Hourglass next to the game board.

Decide which team will start and who will be the first to tell.

All members of a team must be narrators in turn.
