-
The sensor module has a pair of IR transceiver tubes, adapts to ambient light.
-
The transmitter tubes emit light at a certain frequency in the IR band, when an obstacle occurs in the path of the light beam, the light reflected by hitting the surface of the obstacle in question is read by the receiver sensor.
-
The resulting electrical signal is processed by a dial gauge circuit and the green indicator light is on, and the LOW status is read from the digital output.
-
Efficient distance is between 2-30cm, working voltage range is between 3.3V-5V.
-
Detection distance is adjusted by potentiometer.
-
The location of the potentiometer and the distance to which the reading is made can be estimated.
-
It is widely used for obstacle detection in robot applications.
-
It is also used in cars that change direction when faced with an obstacle, black/white line tracking and many similar applications.
-
Technical Specifications of the Product: When the module encounters an obstacle, the green indicator light on the card lights up, and the LOW signal level at the output terminal lights up permanently.
-
The module operates at distances between 2-30cm and the detection angle is 35 °.
-
The digital output of the sensor can be connected directly to the microcontrollers.
-
Output 5V can drive a relay directly
-
Connection type: VCC-VCC
-
GND-GND-out-IO.
-
LM393 was used as a comparator.
-
The module can be powered by a power supply that generates 3-5V DC.
-
When the feed is given, the red LED lights up. Thanks to the 3mm mounting holes, fixed mounting is easily made.
-
Board dimensions: 3.2cm * 1.4CMEach module has a comparator operating at the threshold value and the comparator voltage is adjusted by a potentiometer.
