Marteniçka is tied to the wrists with wishes for goodness, health, fertility, work, and money.

After attaching Marteniçka, when the first stork or a blooming tree is seen, the red and white part is removed and connected to a fruit-bearing tree.

The other part continues to be used as an accessory.

It is believed that if the stork is seen while wearing Marteniçka, the wishes that were begged while wearing Marteniçka will be fulfilled.

Marteniçka is worn with the same wishes and used as an accessory not only in March but throughout the year.
